A laid-back sunny wedding at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh – Sally & Simon
Oh my Scotland really is beautiful when the sun shines.
Simon and Sally got married on a scorcher of a day at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh on Friday. The sunny day matched perfect with the yellow and blue tones in her flowers and the door of mews house they chose to get ready in!
Having met at uni in Edinburgh living in the same building Edinburgh was truly the most perfect place for them to celebrate their wedding and what more of a beautiful setting then the botanics! They combined perfectly their Scottish and French heritage, I loved their croquembouche cake which puffs of choux pastry, assembled in a cone shape, and bound together with threads of caramelized sugar. It was so delicious!
The botanics is an incredibly special space to me too, with my great grandparents having lived at 1 Inverleith Row I spent so much time here growing up. It was such an honour to be able to capture this stunning wedding.
