WOW 2017 you were totally incredible!!
First off, a MASSIVE thank you to all the couples who let me capture their beautiful weddings for them (I shot 32 wedding on my own and another 12 as a second shooter, eak!). I will never forget all the fun, laughter, emotion, tears, ceilidhs, dance floor moves and all the adventures I had in 2017!
Photographing wedding in Scotland is always an absolute rollercoaster of rain, wind, snow and sometimes even some glorious sunshine. I’ve been to incredible castles, stately homes, barns, ballrooms, town halls, village halls, theatres, registry offices, hotels, 15th-century chapels, botanical gardens, churches, vegan restaurants and lots of stunning places in Edinburgh and by my home in Leith..and even a zoo!
Outside of wedding photography, 2017 was full of adventures in my personal life… my second nephew was born, I went to Rome and Barcelona for work and holidays, my mum and dad moved to Spain, my brother plus his wife and my nephews moved to Stornoway, I finished my BSc in Web Design & Development, bought (and started to renovate) my first flat, met my amazing new boyfriend, my aunt got married in secret (and I took her wedding photogprahs!) spent Christmas in Spain with mum and dad, and Hogmanay in Glasgow at the last ever Club Noir.
I’m so thankful for everyone who has supported me since I shot my first wedding in 2010. I can’t believe how quickly the last few years have gone by and I’m so excited to see what 2018 has in store.
